Rush Carnivale update – due to bad weather some activities cancelled

****EVENT NOTIFICATION****

Unfortunately, due to predicted heavy rain fall, Rush Festival will be cancelling some activities to be held on Saturday 13 October during Rush Carnivale.

The following outdoor activities will be cancelled:

– Nashy’s 500 Billy Cart Challenge
– Licensed 18+ bar area (Civic Centre carpark)
– Outdoor food, markets and ride vendors

Rush Festival hopes to re-schedule some of these events over the coming six months.

Please note at this stage the Gold Rush Parade is still scheduled to go ahead, subject to weather conditions. Parade route and info can be found here.

The Rush Main Stage, Live and Local Session 2 (featuring Wes Carr), Nashy’s Big Beard Bonanza, workshops and the Immersive Art Projection Experience will remain open inside the Civic Centre at scheduled times. Where possible, roaming entertainment and performances will be relocated indoors.

For program schedule, see http://rushfestival.com.au/program/.

Rush Festival is disappointed with this outcome, but hopes to see the community enjoying the many family friendly and free activities to come over the next week until 21 October.
