The singer-songwriter soared to national fame in 2008 when he took the crown in series six of Network Ten’s Australian Idol program. His debut single You became a platinum selling Aria number 1 single.
Wes Carr also performed as the front man of Silverchair side project Tambalane.
Now a Sunshine Coast resident, Wes will be joining the likes of local girls The Dennis Sisters, Jess Fox, Leonie Kingdom, Kaitlin Grace, Alisha Todd, Darryl James and more for Live and Local Session 2 in the Gympie Civic Centre’s Fossickers Room.
Over four nights across ten stages, Rush Festival’s Live and Local program is all about celebrating South East Queensland’s finest bands and performers; indoors, outdoors and everything in between.
